Anchor Bolts has a hole diameter equal to the anchor diameter
Product is for use with concrete only, not for block or brick based materials, strong and suitable for indoor and outdoor and elevator use
Product Highlights
How long should my wedge anchor be?
As a rule of thumb, the space for the nut and washer is equal to the diameter of the wedge anchor used. For example, if a 1/2" wedge anchor is used to secure a 2x4 to concrete, the minimum length of the wedge anchor will be 1-1/2" (2x4) + 2-1/4" (minimum embedment) + 1 /2" (space for nut and washer) = 4-1/4 ".
How long of a concrete anchor do I need?
What length of concrete fastener should I use? In the case of male or stud anchors, the anchor length is determined by the thickness of the material to be fastened plus the minimum embedment of the anchor diameter plus the thickness of the nut and washer (rule of thumb is the anchor diameter).
About the installation
Rotary drilling: Drilling without impact, for hollow bricks and building materials with low strength to avoid drilling too much or breaking the structure in the hollow bricks.
Impact drilling: Rotating with high frequency of light impact, used for solid construction materials with tight structure.
Hammer drilling: Rotating with a heavy impact at the bottom frequency, for solid construction materials with a tight structure.
Diamond or hollow bit drilling: mainly used for larger drilling diameters or dense substrate reinforcement.
1, pre-insert installation: Most of the anchor bolts are flush with the base material after installation. Installation process: Delineate the installation hole position of the anchored object on the anchoring base. Drill the hole, clear the hole, insert the anchor bolt, and fix the anchored object with screws.
2. Penetration installation: This method is recommended for bulk installation or when the anchor has multiple anchor points to simplify the installation process: the holes in the anchor can be used as a drilling template because the diameter of the holes in the anchor is at least the same as the diameter of the holes in the substrate.
This method of installation simplifies the installation process and allows for a good fit.
The anchor bolt is inserted through the anchored object into the hole and then allowed to expand.
When using frame anchors or U-shaped spacers, the spacers prevent the anchor from being inserted too deeply.
